GUIDELINES for Adjunct EMDR therapy

There is also a flow chart for the referral process, which includes the referral form if you are a provider wishing to refer to an EMDR therapist to see your client for some EMDR sessions under their ACC Sensitive Claim.
This process has now been acknowledged by ACC and their Psychology Advisors support following these guidelines.
As outlined in the flowchart, it is expected that only clinicians who have completed a minimum of Basic training (with certificate) and who are receiving ongoing EMDR supervision from an EMDR supervisor will undertake Adjunct EMDR as part of ACC sensitive Claims.
