Welcome to the EMDRNZ Therapist Directory
This directory allows you to find EMDRNZ members providing EMDR therapy in your area. All of our members have completed the EMDR Training program that meets international guidelines.
To find an EMDR Therapist, please search by the therapist’s location, training level and if they are offering online sessions, are ACC registered and are accepting new clients.

There are the following grades of EMDRNZ Training Levels:
Member - the person is a trained EMDR practitioner.
Accredited Practitioner - the person is a Member AND has met additional requirements of supervision and experience.
Case Consultant - the person is an Accredited Practitioner AND has additional experience and skills to be approved by EMDRNZ to provide consultation and supervision to other therapists.
Facilitator - the person is a certified case consultant and EMDR supervisor who is qualified to assist in delivering the EMDR Basic Training course. This role involves working alongside the EMDR Trainer to support participants' learning and skill development during the training programme.
Trainer - the person is a certified case consultant and EMDR supervisor who is qualified to teach the EMDR Basic Training course. This individual has met rigorous standards and possesses extensive experience in both practicing and supervising EMDR therapy.
EMDRNZ cannot and does not make referrals to specific EMDR therapists. EMDRNZ makes no claims or assurances regarding the qualifications of the practitioners listed, or the suitability of the services to be rendered by the practitioner for the needs of the inquiring individual. The use of this directory to locate an EMDR therapist is voluntary. In no event shall EMDRNZ be liable for the voluntary selection of any EMDR therapist, or for the services provided by any EMDR therapist.
